The Bonanaza continues.
Friday night was another fine feast provided by our friends at the First Baptist Church in Farmer City. For the message our own Marlan Brown did a fantastic job of explaining God's word with three people rededicating their walk with Christ.
The fourth tournament in the Central Illinois Division was held on Clinton Lake with another stellar weigh in. Even with low water conditions and no rain for weeks the fish didn't seem to notice. Clay reeves and Daniel Weikle continue to have an outstanding run with a five fish limit weighing 20.34lbs and giving them their second win of the season. They also caught the Big Bass of the tournament with a Largemouth that weighed 6.13lbs.Second Place was the team of Clint Seaman and Brent Hauser with a great bag of fish weighing 18.99lbs. Third Place was the team of Travis Boley and John McKinney with 17.59lbs. Travis and John still hold the lead in the year end point race with one more event remaining. Fourth Place was the team of Ian Estes and Michael Sanders with 16.63 lbs and the Second Big Bass with a largemouth weighing 4.74 lbs. Out of nine teams all nine weighed in limits with a total weight of 139.09 lbs with an average weight per fish of 3.09 lbs. We can't wait to see what happens next month with our final event August 25th. Hope to see you there.
