It was exciting to get the first tournament of the year in the Central Division on Greers Ferry.
We met Friday night for a great meeting hosted by Lone Star Baptist Church. The Church provided an awesome BBQ meal followed by a great message presenting the Gospel and encouraging us to live lives of example. It was great to have everyone there on a Friday night to help out with the ministry of Fishers of Men. Thank you all so much for everything!!!
The weather was great, and the kick off to the season was also. With a lot of fish coming to the scales it was exciting to see the results. There were 11 teams fishing, they weighed in 51 fish weighing 130.97lbs. The Big Bass of the day went to Cody Davis and Tim Marshall who had a 6.53.
The following were our leaders:
1st Place: 19.47lbs: Tim Marshall - Cody Davis
2nd Place: 18.35lbs : Mark Boling - Jared Boling
3rd Place: 13.71lbs : Flannagan Fife - Steve Cannon
