The River was up and so were the hopes of all nine teams as they hit the water searching for the big bags of fish.
We met Friday night at First Assembly of god in Russellville for our Friday Night Meeting. I had my first opportunity as director of the central division to minister at the meeting. We had Cheese burgers and French Fries that some of the fishermen, after being on the water all day, stepped up and cooked. Everyone came together for the cause and we had a great meeting. Thank you all so much for everything!!!
It proved to be a tough day on the water for most of the teams. . There were 9 teams fishing, they weighed in 27 fish weighing 75.13lbs. The Big Bass of the day went to Mike Nichols and Mike Nichols Jr. who had a 5.34. Finishing in First Place was the team of Clay Whiting and his son Ben. Ben fished as a substitute for Tim Mulligan. Ben had a great day as he caught 3 of the keepers the Whiting team weighed in and also won a Remington 30-06 that we raffled off at the weigh in. Congratulations!!!!

1st Place: 15.78lbs: Clay Whiting – Ben Whiting
2nd Place: 14.68lbs : Donnie Bates - Paul Harper
3rd Place: 11.97lbs : Mark Boling - Jared Boling
