The 2012 season has kicked off for the TN Central Division. We had our Friday night meeting hosted by The River of Life Church for the second year and the hospitality was heart warming. Pastor Jerry Smith done a excellent job again on makeing the Bar-B-Que for us this year. Pastor Smith has been under the weather for a while but still insisted on preparing the meal for us. A special thanks to David McMurray for helping us get the meeting set up. Brother Clay delivered a great message with a different twist on the term Fishers of Men. Their is a nother person that is always fishing for us trying to lure us in to his trap always looking for the right bait ,place and time to catch us and is the enemy of God. Also we should not be blinded from the good things that God does for us but remember that we are being tested through the bad times and we need to rely on God the most.God is always in our corner helping us fill out our potentials.
Saturday gave way to some warm tempatures that made for good fishing weather. With 15 teams fishing we had a total five limits brought to the scales. The team of Jeremy Ethridge and Nathan Grosch brought a limit of fish to the scales weighing 23.17lbs, toped off with a 6.03 large mouth good enough to give them 1st place and also takeing big fish honors. Second place went to the Earl and Wayne Clouse with a 5 fish limit weighing 10.83lbs, also takeing 2nd big fish with a 4.52 large mouth. The team of Jeff Hollingshead and Rodney Morrow took Third place with a weight of 9.33lbs.
