Dillon Lake Results: May 12, 2012
We had a great day in the LORD on Friday the 11th of May at the Scenic Over look Shelter house at Dillon State Park.
The Message was given by Fellow Fishers of Men Member Steve Dungan. He started out saying that He wasn't a preacher that he is a sinner saved by Grace just like us all. Then went on to teach us all From The Word !!! Genisis 1:26 Then GOD said," let us make men in Our image" speaking about the Trinity - FATHER,SON,HOLY SPIRIT. Steve showed us without a good tie of all 3 we can't hold and knot isn't good. He showed a Polymar knot that most all fisherman know and Remember everytime that you tie it remember FATHER,SON,SPIRIT He spoke of fishing how we try to do things to make fish bite our baits. We should do the same thing with others whom don't know JESUS, we are the bait and others should see in us what they want and bite !!! We can catch them But only GOD can clean them.
Saturday we had 3 teams,Steve Dungan, Jon Linderman,New Team this year of Jim Cooke and Brian Sayres, Total fish weighed in was 7lbs.5 oz. Big bass was caught by Brian Sayres 1.10 Lbs. second Big Bass was caught by Steve Dungan and it weighed 1.09 lbs. Decided by just 1 oz. !!! Jon Linderman won the event with 3.12 Lbs.
What was really awesome after the tournament we broke bread and had food beverages and Good Fellowship with each other when we seen a club tournament ending and we used the lesson from friday night and invited them to join us for food and fellowship and they came !!! The guy's from Team Extreme thank you for joining us for Fellowship.
