OPEN- Keowee Results: Oct 27, 2012
Well, we had exactly what we were expecting with 19 boats showing up for an open tournament on Keowee in October. There were lots of new faces at this tournament for FOMSC. We were very happy with that. We paid out $1,890 dollars at this one. Finishes were as follows:
1st--Clint Hudson and Andy Burgess—14.38 and won-- $1080.00
2nd—Todd Goade and Chris Baxter --- 12.04 and won --$400.00
3rd—Ri
ck Rackley and Jason Youngblood – 11.37 and won -- $300.00
4th – Greg Glouse and Gearld Glouse – 9.83 and won --$110.00
It was a great day for all, I think, as a bunch of small fish were also caught. We are definitely on track for a crowd of 50 boats at least for our black bag event the day after thanksgiving. There will be a $4,000.00 guarantee on that one. Send me a quick message if you need a flyer as we already have entries on it. It is a big bag tourney so an early blastoff is a definite need.
