About This Division
Welcome to Alabama Central! If you are searching for a different approach to tournament fishing, look no further! We offer quality bass tournaments in a family atmosphere. Our division was established eleven years ago and is organized strictly by volunteers. We host a Friday night meeting prior to our tournaments with a meal provided. Our program begins with registration at 5:30 p.m. and ends with door prizes. Come check us out!
FOM has evolved from a one division, one state fishing trail into a national organization, but there have been few major changes to the systematic tournament trail process over the years. In the fall of 2012 an interdisciplinary leadership group conducted a comprehensive review of emerging trends and suggestions from our members to offer an enhanced 2013 fishing season. Changes to the rules were mostly editorial in nature and intended to clarify and support. The emphasis of the systematic changes was to transform FOM into a more efficient trail and to minimize costs to the fisherman. Alabama Central is in District 2 and is a “No Off Limits” division.
