Where has the season gone? Seems the 2012 season just got underway, and now we have finished our Regional Qualifier.
Crosspoint Community Church was a great host for our 30 teams represented at the Friday evening meeting. We all enjoyed some good BBQ compliments of Center of Hope Ministries. Thanks Garry. I enjoyed giving the message on Preparation, and making sure we are prepared and know the simple plan of salvation in our Lord Jesus. We received 4 rededications. Praise God.
Saturday was a beautiful day for fishing especially for the team of Gary Rogers and Chuck Minor. They sacked 16.28 pounds to win their second event in a row, and also earn the Point Leader Champions title. Congrats Guys.
Second place was locked up by the Georgia team of Karl Stephens and John Cook with a limit of 14.53 pounds. Donny and Steve Wilson's 14.16 pound limit landed them third place honors.
Brian Fomby and Tony Parton lost the points lead after a tough day, but elected to stay and congratulate our Points leaders. Some call that class, some call it good sportsmanship, but myself, I call it both.
Kathy, myself and the staff want to thank everyone for fishing with us this year. We enjoyed all of you.
