Hello Anglers of South Louisiana!
Friday Night was a great meeting! Thank you to The Church of God of Prophecy, 1012 Church Street, Pierre Part, LA 70339 and Pastor Doug for allowing us to meet together. Pastor Doug also gave us a great message of how we need to be an example to those around us. Also, to make sure we take time everyday to spend time with our Lord in prayer and Bible study.
We ate home made spahgetti and salad, thanks to chef Jill Brakebill for her work and talents in the kitchen!
We enter Saturday morning with a field od 22 boats and mostly clear skies and falling water levels. It was a great start to the day with spirits high. As the boats began to check in reports of a lot of fish caught were swirling.
With 22 boats we paid out the top 4 finishers.
1. Will Courtney and Bobby Fowler. Congratulations!! A well deserved win to Will and Bobby. They had a limit of 5 fish and took 1st place Big Fish and 1st place Bonus Bucks with 13.12 lbs., Big Fish at 4.41 lbs. Thanks guys for your dedication to Fishers of Men over the years, it has paid off!!
2. Marvin Alleman and Aaron Verrett. They took 2nd Place and 2nd Bonus Bucks with a strong limit of 12.61 lbs. Marvin and Aaron are keeping the pressure on the points race. Way to go gentlemen.
3. Chase Martinez and Ryan Caballero. Our newest addition to South Louisiana FOM took 3rd place and 3rd place Bonus Bucks with a limit totaling 12.47 lbs. They made a grand entrance into our Division. Thanks for fishing with us guys, great to have you.
4. George Valentine and Jim Bridges. Jim and George held on to 4th place by .09 lbs.! They also took 2nd place Big Fish. Their catch of 5 fish came in at 12.46 lbs, and 2nd Big Fish of 4.18 lbs. Thanks to Jim and George for your support of South Louisiana FOM.
Our Anglers make South Louisiana Division the best around! Keep up the hard work!!
