White River Results: Jul 7, 2012
FOM NEA is grateful to First Baptist Church of Newport, AR for hosting our Friday Night Meeting. We were greeted with outstanding hospitality and fed with top of the line barbeque and baby back ribs, along with the fixins. Bro. Sonny Simpson spoke to us from the Book of John when Jesus met Nathaniel.
Saturday morning fishermen were met with more hot weather. Later in the morning they were cooled off by thunder storms. Fishing was tough for all but productive for several teams. Victor Holt and Jim Grady came in first place with five fish weighing 17.46 lbs. They also won first big bass with a 4.12 lb.lunker. 2nd Place goes to Mitchell Drum and Kevin Owens. They came in with five fish weighing 13.98lbs. 3rd place winners was the team of Mike Crump and Jeff Cooper with five fish weighing 10.60 lbs.
The 2012 Points Champs goes to Kevin Riney and Tobin Baker. They beat out Mitchell Drum and Kevin Owens by one point. It proved to be a battle to the end. Congratulations goes to Riney & Baker.
