The 2017 Florida Central Division kicked off in a HUGE way!!!

   The Friday night pre-tournament meeting was held at First Christian Church in Kissimmee, where Senior Minister Jim Book provided an inspirational and engaging speech about Jonah and his time inside the stomach of a fish.  Accompanying us was Fishers of Men's very own, Al Odom and the Florida Central Legacy Series director Rob Austin.  The division welcomed our newest husband/wife team, Steve and Trina Pritchard and were also honored to have military veterans Bobby Davis and Craig Maxwell.

   The weather in central Florida provided all the elements to have some big weights brought to the scales with warm weather for most of the week and a full moon.  Our 2016 point leaders Dan and Jeremy Smith came in third place with 22.77 lbs.  Second place went to Don Fisher and Brian Nelson with 26.71 lbs. John Brazzell and Josh Davis rewrote the Fishers of Men record books for a one day total weight of 36.12 lbs and also took big fish with a 9.88 lb. beauty!  Congratulations to them and a big thank you to all our teams and parties that contributed to making our 2017 season launch a success.
