Our first Guys n Gals event is in the books. I had hoped we would see more teams but I believe those that were able to make it had a great time. The fishing proved to be very tough for my wife Kathy and I but others were able to fill the livewells with some nice bass. Congratulations to the husband and wife team of Jason and Terri Doty on their first place finish. They were the only team to bring 5 bass to the scales and had a total weight of 13.26 pounds. Second place found the son and mother team of Ryan and Tracy Spencer with 4 bass going 9.34 pounds, including a big bass tipping the scales at 3.81 pounds giving them big bass for the event. The brother and sister team of Nathan and Kayla Doty brought 4 bass to the scales for 7.74 pounds securing them third place. Finishing in fourth place was the team of Steve Bowcock and Amanda Black with four fish going 7.20 pounds. We would like to thank R&M Custom Creations for taking care of our tumbler prizes.
