 Our final stop of this crazy season wrapped up at Lake Murray where 24 teams braved howling winds to see who could take the win. Jason Byrd led our blustery morning devotion about being accountable, as Iron sharpens Iron, we men need to help each other stay on track in our lives.

By the 2 pm weigh-in time rolled around our anglers had had enough of the rough water and were glad to bring their catches to the scales. This tournament proved to be a case of the haves and have nots as the top 3 teams all topped the 18 lb mark while the rest of the field only managed one more double digit bag, with alot of 1 and 2 fish bags. a Quarter of the field failed to register a fish.

The always tough team of Ronnie Mueller and Wayne Frierson did it again when they brought 20.25 lbs to the scales. They claimed $2200 for their win. In 2nd was the team of Sean Anderson and George Berry with 19.85 lbs anchored by the tournament Big Bass of 6.38 lbs. Finishing 3rd was the team of Emmet Maynor and Karson Grubbs with 18.97 lbs. Rounding out the money was the team of Russ Padgett & Phillip Anderson who weighed 12.31 lbs.

Running away with our Points Champions Title was the team of Marshall French and Tripp Poplin who claimed the title by over 50 points. They earned $2070 for their efforts. 2nd Place in Points went to Erroll Duckett and Jimmy LeShock earing them $1000 and 3rd in Points went to Phillip Hawkins and Bill Foxworth who claimed $800 for their finish. All told over $6000 was split over our top 10 qualified teams in our Points Payouts.
