Wow, what an awesome season we had, this year we saw growth through the last tournament.

We would like to thank Palestine Baptist Church for hosting us this year, they had a wonderful meal and venue for us to share and break bread in. Special thanks to Brad Bays and Montana Bays who worked so hard prepaing the meal for us.

Well, our 4th of July week was a tough week to have this tournament, but the team of Bryan Humphreys and Maurice Oakes managed to put together the winning bag of 17.18lbs, with a 3.99lb kicker. They caught their fish on large texas rigged worms on deep main channel points. They said they had this bite dialed in.

Big fish of the day was caught by our 5th place team of Stephen Bishop and Richard Alley, it weighed in at 4.97lbs and was caught on top water within the first hour of the tournament.

Rounding out the money winners is:

2nd place - Marty Nester and Doug Carter - 14.63lbs

3rd place - Wayne Myers and Brian Myers - 14.18lbs.

4th place - Wayne Smelser and Zach Peaslee - 13.37lbs

5th place - Stephen Bishop and Richard Alley - 13.08lbs.

6th place - Mac Addair and Larry Witt - 12.97lbs.

Just out of the money for this tournament is Jeffrey Ross and Clay Ross who will be awarded the new JB Custom Rods at the first tournament of next year if they come back to join us and attend the meeting.

THE POINTS CHAMPIONS FOR A SECOND YEAR IN THE ROW WAS MICHAEL SIBOLD AND GREG SIBOLD, WHO RECEIVE AN AUTOMATIC BIRTH IN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Congrats to you both for a great season on the water.

Congrats to all our winners and I pray you enjoyed the tournament and season.

Also rememeber you must sign up for the divisional championship by the Firday before the tournament, you can not sign up at the meeting. If you attended 3 meetings and 3 tournaments and are in the top 80% in the points you have qualified for the divisional. If you attended 3 meetings and 5 tournaments anywhere in the country you automatically qualify to fish any divisional in the country.
