Our Friday night meeting was held at Center Star Baptist Church.  We were served a meal of chicken fingers, green beans, mashed potatoes, and cookies.  We had 16 teams represented at the meeting and enjoyed a time of fellowship prior to our devotion.  Chris Hunt, one of our fellow Team and Legacy Series fishermen brought our devotion.  He told the teams about a day he had on the water and how it tied in directly with the lesson he had to teach in Sunday School the next morning.  We appreciate our team members sharing their testimonies and stories with us!  Also, thanks to Chris's wife and daughter for serving the meal. 

Saturday morning was a little cool with a north wind blowing, however, the day turned out to be sunny and warm.  Some of the teams reported that their fish had moved to a new locaiton or at least were in deeper water following a cool front, but all teams weighed in fish.  We did have one team that was unable to fish due to boat trouble.  Our big fish and 5th place went to Brad and Kaden Osborn with 12.08 pounds and a big fish of 5.88 pounds.  Forth place went to Stan and Harrison Riley with 12.31 pounds.  Miller Hunt and Jake Robertson took 3rd place and 3rd place bonus bucks with 13.3 pounds.  Andrew Lambert and Grant Holt placed 2nd and 2nd place bonus bucks with 16.7 pounds.  First place and first place bonus bucks went to Andrew Hamilton and Colby Beck with 18.88 pounds.  Thanks to all the teams that came out and fished with us!  

We look forward to seeing you at our next Friday night meeting on 6/16/17 at Bellview Baptist Church.  Registration begins at 5:30pm and the meal begins at 6:00pm.  To avoid a late fee, mail your entry forms by the Friday before the meeting (post marked by 6/9/17).
