Our Friday night meeting was held at the Beach Pavilion at Guntersveille State.  We had 50 teams present at the Friday night meeting.  The teams were served a meal of Lawler's BBQ, potatoe salad, baked beans, cole slaw and cookies.  A special thanks to our speaker who drove over from Phil Campbell to deliver a thought provoking message.

Saturday turned out to be hot and humid and the fishing pattern changed for many of the teams, making it a really tough fishing day.  Many of the teams struggled to get a good bag while others seemed to find the fish.  We paid out 10 places.  Our top team took home big fish at 7.01 pounds, first place and first place bonus bucks for a pay day of $2453.50 to Dave Rosenberg and Randy Tolbert.  The first place team had 22.26 pounds.  Second place, Chris Cooper and Bob Maggerise, took home $951.50 for 19.72 pounds.  The third place team of Greg Loveday and Zane Loveday had 19.21 pounds and a payday of $675.  Jim Barnette and Jonathan Barnette had 17.42 pounds for forth place and $408.  Fifth place went to Jimmy Garrie and Joe Garrie with 15.89 pounds and $306.  David Potts and Troy Potts came in sixth place with 15.23 pounds.  Seventh place went to Donny Davis and Jack Malone with 14.26 pounds.  Andrew Lambert and Lacey Lambert had 13.95 pounds for eighth place.  Ninth went to Donny Beck and Colby Beck with 13.68 pounds.  Tom Bradford and Troy Bradford placed tenth with 13.6 pounds.  Great job guys!
