The weekend started off with a great meeting at Bucks Island. We had some great lasagna with salad and rolls. Tony, Mary, and crew are great partners with our division. One of our anglers Richard McEarchern spoke and shared a great message from James Ch. 4 encouraging the crowd to "Man Up!!" We blasted off on Neely Henry lake at about 5:15am and all 49 teams had thoughts of catching a limit of bass that would win them the $2500 1st place prize. Fishing proved to be tough for most of the teams, but the team of Greg Diggs and Adam Brown figured it out and brought a limit of fish to the scales that weighed 17.62 and a 5.85 fish that won the the Duckett Fishing Big Bass of the day. They took home $3245 for their efforts. The team of George Crain and Allan Glassgow finished in 2nd with 14.98 to take home $1044 and took over the points lead in the divsion. Check out the rest of the standings below. Let's finish this year off with a high note and have a great turnout for our last tournament on Weiss Lake June 17th at Little River Marina and Lodge. There is alot still on the line for many teams even this late in the year... Top 10, Top 20, District Championship qualification, and "last but not least" the guaranteed $2500 1st place for the tournament. See you there!!
