Well we are two tournaments into the season as we visited Green River Lake this past weekend.  We started off friday night at 3Trees Church in Campbellsville.  They provided a great meal consisting of hamburgers and hotdogs fresh off the grill and some delicious desserts.  After dinner Jaron Burkhardt spoke to us about being fishers of men, and that the Lord sees great promise in all of us and that our greatest achievemints are ahead of us. Thanks to everyone that donated door prizes for this event, D & C Small Engines, Land Big Fish, Hometown Auto, OReilly Auto Parts.   We had 2 members renew their comittment to Christ and one prayed for the first time.

Saturday morning we had warm temperatures as 31 boats went out looking for a limit of bass.  The team of Larry Baldock and Ted Grigsby came to the scales with the winning sack of largemouths weighing 21.18lbs, their fish came from the main lake using B C lures jigs and L and M A-rigs with their little swimmer swim baits.  Second place went to the team of Kelly Poynter and Chris Curry with 18.51lbs.  Kelly and Chris was fishing pockets from lonevalley to butler creek using B C lures shakey heads and crankbaits.  In third place was the team of Brian and David Oliver from Pittsburg Marine.  David and Brian caught their fish on main lake pockets using A-rigs and spinnerbaits.  The big fish of the tourney went to the team of Matt Larkin and Matt Salmons, Matt caught a largmouth weighing 6.16lbs using an A-rig.  Join us on April the 22nd as we head to Lake Cumberland.
