We started our 2017 FOM Legacy season with a awesome meeting and meal at Hebron Baptist Church this past Friday evening . We had over 60 folks at the meeting and were provided with a great meal from the men of Hebron Baptist Church. All thanks to Pastor Bob and his bible study group. We had 10 re-dedications and 1 first time confession , and added 13 new teams this year. We closed the night and headed to Sturgeon Creek Marina for boat checks starting at 5:30 a.m. Thanks to Mr Cambell for opening the gate and Chris James for hosting our event.
Boats checks went smooth and all 25 boats were on the water ready for the blast off. Paige Welton done an awesome job singing the National Anthem on the starter boat. We said a quick prayer and the anglers were off for the day.
The day couldn't have been nicer weather was perfect.
All 25 boats returned safely and the weigh -in started at 1:00 with the second flight coming in at 1:15.
We paid eight spots in a adult junior completion with both parties getting checks junior angler and adult angler.

Just out of the money Shawn Smith and Natalie Smith will be awarded at the next meeting with a J.B. Custom Rod.
The one that got away we have a three way tie which will be drawn at the next meeting between the three. one team will also win a J.B. Custom Rod.
