Thanks so much to the fine folks at Troutman Baptist Church for hosting us in their beautiful facility! Friday night's dinner was awesome with a wonderful message from Carson Benson. Carson gave his testimony about his life and his spiritual walk. He talked about how he had to change "normal" from earlier habits to those walking with God. One individual dedicated his life to Christ at the dinner as well!
As far as the tournament on Norman, Chris Guest and Larry Denton came in with a fine bag for first place at just under 14 pounds. Billy Wright and Grant McPeters were a close second only .22 pounds behind! 3rd place went to David Anderson and Chad Evans with 12.84 pounds while Mike Seawright and Greg Lovelace were only .11 pounds behind that for fourth place. Rounding out the winners were Kenneth and John Shumate with 12.70 pounds. Big fish went to David Anderson and Chad Evans with a 4.72 pound beauty.
From here, it's on to beautiful Lake James in two weeks - see you April 1 - no fooling!
