NC Central Legacy 2017 season made our 3rd stop at Falls Lake NC.  Ridgecrest Baptist Church of Durham provided the main event on Friday night by hosting our teams for dinner.  We want to thank Chick Fila Harrison Ave, Cary NC for supporting us on our last event of the season.  We want to personally thank Rod King for all of his assistance and support for this our final event of 2017.  

Our teams began arriving around 5:30 with much excitement.  In all of our Friday night meetings we emphasize the importance of being ready for eternity as we do not have any guarantees of another day.  We must praise God for answering prayer on  Friday night as we had two issues take place.  The first event was prayer for a family who had received some concerning news of their unborn child then we found out early Saturday morning that one of our teams was involved in a major car accident on the way home from the meeting.  We can say that both situations have a great report.  As the family matter had additional test done and the baby is fine.  Second the auto accident had no major injuries from either vehicle. To God be the Glory. Early Saturday morning the teams began to arrive at the ramp with champioship excitement.  We anticipated foul weather but that held off until days end.  When the teams began to arrive with their catch of the day we began to see all teams with a bountiful catch.  And at the end of the day we had a winning team with over a 28 lb catch and a first place points championship.  Congrats to Curt and Curtis Vaughn on 2017 points championship.  We were able to present the awards and bonus prizes at the ramp.
