Sardis Baptist Church of Hartwell hosted our 3rd stop for 2017. Our meal consisted of smoked chicken and trimmings.  As our anglers enjoyed the meal, we began to think of about the reason for the meeting.  While we all experience highs and lows, we took this evening to have a prayer service for the many prayer requests received thus far in our season.  Of those in attendance, the Spirit was certainly felt throughout the evening.

As April Fools Day dawned, all 34 teams took to the water in search of a big sack and not much wind.  Many teams stated they had a limit within an hour of fishing.  When weigh-in came, leading the charge was Stowers/Thompson with over 17 pounds.  Second place went to Sanders/Sanders with 16 pounds even and third belonged to Snyder/Jackson with a bag of fish weighing 15.45.  The team of Hulsey/O'neal brought a big fish to the scales weighing almost 5 pounds.  Congrats to all, hope it was fun!!!!  See you all at Chatuge.
