The third tournament of the season is in the books.  Friday night we all meet at 3Trees church in Russell Springs and enjoyed some pulled pork bbq, baked beans and cole slaw.  After dinner we got the pleasure of having FOM member Adam Hooker speak to us about weathering the storm, and how we need to let God be our captain to help us through it.  We had 2 to pray for the first time and 2 others that recommitted their lives to Christ.  Join us on May 20th on Dale Hollow lake for our next tournament.

The rain held off untill the start of blast off as 34 team headed out in the search of five fish to take home first place.  The team that did just that was the team of Ben and Lacy Kabel, the brought five smallmouth to the scales that weighted 18.17lbs.  Ben and Lacy caught their fish on Cumberlan Pro shakey heads on secondary points.  In second place with 17.79lbs was the team of Brad Roberts Chris and Brad caught their fish on swimbaits and shakey heads.  Coming in third place was Richard Bowling and Mickey Ballard with a total weight of 17.41lbs caught on flukes and shakey head trick worms in shallow water.  Big fish of the tourney went to the team of Keith Monson and Greg Profit with a largemouth weighting 5.21lbs they caught it on a brush hog.
