We would first of all like to thank our fine friends at Plum Branch Baptist Church for welcoming the SC Upstate Legacy again this year. We enjoyed the hamburgers and hot dogs, as well as the warm time of fellowship everyone experienced.
Since we had fewer teams than expected, I wanted to give a shout out to the Host team for calling in local Fire and Rescue teams for a free meal, and for blessing the local children's home withe the extra food, as well. TRUE SERVANTS, making a difference with their time and support!!
John Noblin shared a very inspirational message: HEAVEN. What a day that will be when we take our first step into the land where Jesus is! Heaven is a REAL place of Adoration, Awe, Activity, and Absence of the presence of sin.
We want to share that one of our Junior anglers ACCEPTED CHRIST as his personal Savior Friday night. What an incredible way to end this 2017 season, by celebrating his salvation with such a very special family!

Ten teams competed on this very HOT July day. The temps were in the 70's at 6am, and rose to above 90 before 9am. Needless to say, ALL of us were ready to hit that A/C asap after the weigh in.
