GRAND Lake gave a GRAND FINALE!!!!!
(First, the staff at Elk Baptist Church provided a great message and meal! Thank you for your support!)
Chuck Smith and Mike Moore did not clean sweep the 3rd spot Bonus Bucks for the the year, Don Strickland and Jake Sitton put an end to that with a nice bag of 13.38lbs, with a 4.4lb kicker. Cledas Manuel and Dave Austin, only needing to edge out Kevin & Bryan Jackson to win the divison brought in a hefty 18.11lb bag with a 4.12lb kicker (Big Bass of the day), however the Jackson's would not be out done on this day! Kevin & Bryan managed to to bring in huge sack for any tournament with 19.11lb using football jig, worms & crank baits in the mouth of Elk river, focusing on the channel ledges in 10-18'. GREAT JOB GUYS!! That's good enough to earn you a spot as Division Champs and a trip to the Nationals on Lake Hartwell, SC.
That brings an end to our 2018 regular season, and I would like to say a BIG THANK YOU to all the teams this year for putting up with me and being patient as I was learning the system! We plan on making it bigger and better next year and the years to come!
However, don't forget about our OPEN Tournment on lake Taneycomo, July 14, Empire Landing. NO MEMBERSHIP, NO FRIDAY NIGHT MEETING, DOOR PRIZES & CASH AT THE WEIGH-IN. Only the 1st 50 entries will be accepted!!!! And we are accepting entry fees NOW!
