Our fourth tournament of the year was held in the Henderson Spillway in Henderson. We had 32 boats!! Our meeting was held at the Henderson City Hall Building. A big thanks to Mayor Sherbin Collette. We kept our meal simple with hot dogs and chili. Our message was given by our assistant director Winston Michel. The message was about good works alone will not get us a spot in the Kingdom of Heaven, we need a personal relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ.
The tournament began with prayer led by Winston Michel. The weather was beautiful but the water was very high. Though size was a challenge for most, there were limits caught. 1st place went to Neil Meche and Travis Meche with 11.86lbs, 2nd place went to Alex Perrett and Cary Beard with 11.48lbs, 3rd was Sandy Gaudet and Winston Michel with 10.80lbs, 4th went to Tom Goines and TJ Goines with 10.14lbs, 5th was Vernon Silver and Gerald Butler with 9.94lbs and 6th was Alex Heintze and Garey Haney with 9.34lbs. Big Bass was also Alex Perrett and Cary Beard with a 4.10lb lunker.
