The Florida division completed their second event for the month of January.  We were pleased to have some guests from Maryland as well as three new teams.  The weather was once again a factor for this event but just with the wind, we didn’t have to deal with dropping temps again. 
   The team’s flexibility was greatly appreciated as we were pushed out of our meeting location due to a concert that was booked on top of us.  We made due and all went well, as we enjoyed some fries chicken and birthday cake in honor of Jim Wade!  Vince lambert provided our devotional about being our brother’s keeper and being fishers of men.  We all enjoy fishing and having boats, but when we come in, we need to realize that there are others hurting or not as fortunate. 
   Thank you to Camp Mack and Charlie for making sure were set up to use the stage for the weigh in.  The high winds made it a struggle for sure, but there we some GIANT Florida bass brought to the scales.  Dave Crews and Troy Oliver came in first place with a 11.33 toad and 24.58 lbs overall.  Dan and Jeremy Smith continued their success with a second place finish of 20.19 lbs and a 9.23 lb beauty to go with it.  Brock and Richard Nearhoof took third place earning them a third place in Bonus Bucks and a new rod.
