Our second tournament for Fishers of Men Legacy division in Central Florida is a wrap. We launched out of the John's Lake Boat ramp in Winter Garden Saturday February 3rd at about 7:05 with 15 boats making the trip. The weather was about 20 degrees warmer than last tournament but still a cool 53 degrees. Although the beds were a plenty, it looked like the big girls just haven't moved up on them quite yet. That being said we still had some good weights weighing in at 1pm. Jason Casteel and Kody Keller came in first with 14.86lbs with a big fish of 3.89. Great job guys. Second place went to Dusty McDevitt and Corey Beckington with 13.52lbs. Third place went to the new "old" guy Larry "lil fish" Maring and Brooke Nelson with 10.64lbs. Fourth place was close behind at 10.35 and that went to Brian and Alison Nelson. Another new team to join in was Matt and Conner Fair who managed 9.49lbs to take fifth place. Davis DiMauro caught big fish for the day with 4.29lb to take the honors. This was our first time where we had our message and lunch after the tournament instead of Friday evening before. After weigh in Billy Taylor delivered another great message while everyone ate lunch. We followed that up with some prize drawings and dismissed everyone till next tournament. SEE BELOW FOR DETAILS

The Fishers of Men Legacy Series is an exciting opportunity for both Adult and Junior fisherman to compete for cash, prizes, and create memories that will last a lifetime. Be sure to attend all Pre-Tournament Meetings the Friday night before each tournament where competitors will receive a meal, door prizes and hear an inspirational message. Fifty points are added to each teams standings for attending the meeting. Legacy Tournaments pay out 1 spot per every 3 boats entered and the Bonus Bucks program which offers 100% payback in a 50/30/20 split is OPTIONAL. Dont forget I will be drawing boat numbers on Monday, January 29 at 7pm. I will post launch numbers on facebook and here. Please get me your payments in before then to get your name in the drawing. Any payments made after will be added to the end in the order as it is received. We will launch at safe light (around 6:50-7) and weigh in at 1. Following weigh in we will have lunch, a short message from Billy Taylor and some prize drawings. Be safe and we'll see you Saturday March 3rd on Johns Lake!!!!
