An awesome time was had for our second stop for the 2018 season.  The brotherhood at Sardis Baptist Church provided a wonderful meal of BBQ and trimmings.  47 of the 48 teams were represented and heard Eric Moran, pastor of Cedar Creek Baptist Church, deliver God's word of being a fisher of men.  We all were challenged to live and share who we were and who we are now.  To find someone behind us, beside us and in front of us!  

As Saturday began, all 48 teams were eager to get going for a nice bag of fish.  Throughout the day, with a threat of rain lingering, many teams reported they caught a number of fish just not the weights they expecting.  46 teams brought fish to the same scales in search of a winning weight.  Leading the charge with 13.66 pounds was the father/son team of Kevin and Konnor Sanders.  Second place, just fractions behind, was Callaway/Harris with 13.63 pounds.  Rounding out the top three was Rhodes/Dorlan with 13.18 pounds.  A huge thanks to all who participated and for the cooperation to get all weights in before the rain.  See you all at Russell.
