CJ Johnston and Matt Stanley make it two in a row on High Rock Lake and take home the $3,000 1st place prize money!
High Rock Church of Lexington hosted our Friday night event.
I want to thank Pastor Mike, Andy, Clinton and all of their staff including our speaker Randy Saunders for a wonderful night. The barbecue dinner was great.
Because of all the rain that week the Lake was high with alot of debris and floating logs. A couple of the main creeks were not accessible because of the high water causing the lake to fish small however that didn't hinder most of the anglers as High Rock showed out with several big bags. The team of CJ Johnston and Matt Stanley weighed in a limit of 24.59 lbs and Big fish 6.38 lbs to take home 1st place and $3,130. The team of Landon and Ladd Whicker was 2nd place with 20.93 lbs. and winnings of $1,225 edging out the 3rd place team of Scott Henley and Robert Mixon with 20.20 lbs. and took home $835. Rounding out the teams in the money was Ronnie Smith and Randy Weddington 4th place. 5th place was Tony Lambert and Michael Kinard.
