Cold, dreary conditions on Lake Wylie made for a challenging bite on Saturday, but also created an opportunity for some "big sticks' to show their stuff. Billy Wright and Grant McPeters came in first with a 13.50 lb bag. Glenn Sparrow and Chris Baumgardner finished second with 10.87 pounds. Kevin Pratt and Cameron Lineback weighed in the big fish with an awesome 7.5 lb smallmouth and placed 3rd. Finally,Bobby Lovette and Jerry Blevins placed fourth with 10.30 pounds.
Thanks once again to our awesome hosts at Hope Community Church in Belmont!. Pastor Todd Marlow delivered a great message (as always) and one new soul accepted Christ that night. Also the food was great and served with nifty fishing-oriented table decor - who could ask for better?!!
From here, it's on the Lake James on March 24 - see you all there!!!
