Lake Hickory - April 7, 2018
Foothills Division is now a perfect 4 for 4 for nasty weather this year. Fishermen take note however, that the last two weigh-ins were the best in our 3 year history. Billy Wright and Grant McPeters weighed in a record setting bag of 23.12 pounds and also had big fish with a 6.14 largemouth. Mo Parent and Michael Harrah came in second with 17.61 pounds while 3rd place went to Andy Green and Travis Dotson at 16.34. Marty Nester and Doug Carter rounded out the money winners with 16.26 pounds.
A special thank you to Marty Nester who runs the Piedmont Division and graciously agreed to supervise the blastoff and weigh-in sessions while the Foothills Director was unuder the weather.
And thanks so much to Andy Fox, Kevin Ingle and the fine folks at Tr-City Baptist in Conover for once again being great hosts for our Friday night dinner. They also prepared the meal and Kevin brought us a great message from The Word.
