~~Tournament #2 is a wrap! Wind forecasts warranted a move from Lake Palestine to Lake Tyler as a safety precaution, but we still had a great turnout. 39 teams fished, and we paid out a total of $8,735!

Congratulations to Billy Ferguson & Sonny Booth with the winning sack of 21.98# for 1st place. Great job, Guys. Along with their Bonus Bucks, they won a total of $3,473.50!

Robby Stone caught the Big Bass of the day at 9.40#. Nice one, Robby! He and his partner, Jim Anderson, won $195 for that catch.

Justin Stokes & Austin Stokes came in 2nd with 19.05#. They took home checks totaling $1,463.50.

Scott Jenkins & Coy Spencer finished 3rd with 18.91# winning a total of $969. They were also the highest placing team signed up for the Cast for Cash Challenge, which means they’ll receive an additional $250 from Berkley!

Eric Thompson & Paul Ferguson placed 4th with 18.58# winning $584.

Robby Stone & Jim Anderson placed 5th with 17.44# winning $480 in addition to their Big Bass check. They were also the 2nd highest placing team signed up for the Cash for Cast Challenge so they’ll receive an additional $150 from Berkley.

6th Place went to Steve Terry & Randy Parks with 14.89# for $404.

7th Place was Shannon Arrington & Justin Hunley with 14.50# for $366.

8th Place went to Joey Ridgle & Zay Ridgle with 13.31# for $200.

Danny Smith & Jayce Hutchins were the top placing team with a THSBA angler, winning $300. Many thanks to Joey Ridgle’s Septic Service for sponsoring our Texas High School BASS Association Bonus. It’s great to see more high school anglers getting involved! Danny & Jayce were also the top placing Adult/Jr. team out of the money winning an additional $150.

Danny & Leisa Ginn were the highest placing Male/Female Team out of the money winning $150. We’ve had a nice increase in the number of Male/Female teams fishing. It’s great to see that!
