A great time was had for our second tournament meeting.  Friday evening was brief but what an opportunity to share and be inspired.  The power of a grateful heart starts with recognition of blessings that we take for granted.  The song by Laura Story "Blessings" reminds us how to view those circumstances.  Saturday morning was better than expected, 31 teams took to the waters of Lake Oconee (along with every other boat in the state) in hopes of a big sack of fish.  With the temperature at 57 degrees at ease off, the action for many didn't heat up past that.  Other teams reported catching probably that number (57) of fish for the day.  At the end of the day, leading the field was Sanders/Sanders with 13.74 pounds.  Second place went to Taylor/Schooler with 13.52 pounds.  Not too far off in third was Franklin/Franklin with 11.18 pounds.  Big fish went to Hughes/ Hughes with a nice 4.94 pounder.  Congrats to all, we'll see ya'll at Lake Russell soon!
