Sardis Baptist Church hosted us for our fourth tournament of the 2019 season. Teams were glad to get inside where the wind didn't blow. 30 teams were in attendance to hear from one of our own, Jeff Palmer. His story and message was "aren't you glad God is in control." Through Jeff's touching testimony, all our members were reflecting upon how circumstances provide us an opportunity to TRUST our Lord, that HE knows what HE is doing. Through all things HE has a plan.
Saturday morning began a little on the chilly side with temps in the low 50's. But what a day the Lord served up to us! By weigh-in time, the mercury had risen to low 80's and teams sure were glad the wind didn't beat them up again. Leading the field was Burroughs/Ashley with over 17 pounds, along with a big fish of 4.05. Second place went to Sanders/Spears with 15.46 pounds and third place was Carter/Fife with 14.79. Congrats to all, we will see you in one week as we crown the 2019 division champs team!
