The first East Tennessee Fishers of Men Tournament was held on Watts Bar Lake.  We returned to Midway Baptist Church again this year.  We love this church and the members have been so good to all the fishermen and women over the year.  After a great meal everyone went over to the main building where Ronny Jones delivered a great message where four people rededicated their lives to the Lord.  Awesome.
The Ameriprise First place went to the team of Chuck Cooney and Chris Browne who came to the scales with a huge bag of bass weighing in at 20.90 pounds.  This team reported running to the mid-section beautiful Watts Bar lake to catch their fish.  Chuck stated that they focused on main lake rocky points to catch over 15 bass.  They used a few different crankbaits during the day to entice the bass to bite.  For their effort they won almost $1600.
Second place went to the team Brian Jordan and Michael Smith this talented team ran their White Pine Marine Mercury powered boat to the mid-section of the lake to bring back 5 bass weighing in at 17.84 pounds.  Brian reported targeting secondary point using mainly rattle type baits like the Berkley Wartpig to catch the heavy bag of fish. This team also gets the $250 Berkley Cast for Cash money.   White Pine Marine, Sublime, Dixie Custom Rods and Tackle sponsor this team.

Third place went to the team of Ronny Jones and Bailey Fain who brought just four fish to the scales that weighed in 16.78 pounds This team’s bag of fish also included the lunker of the tournament a beautiful 6.82pound largemouth bass.  Ronny reported catching the on the Alabama rig early in the day.

Fourth place went to went to the team of George Headden and Rick Ellis who had a nice bag of fish weighing in at 16.15 pounds.  George reported running around the upper end of the lake, only catching six fish during the tournament but that they were all quality bites.  This team is sponsored by Rick Ellis Home Inspections.

Fifth place went the newly formed team of Jason White and Chet Burgess who came to the scales with 16.08 pounds of bass.
Jason reported catching their fish early on an Alabama Rig around the mid-section of the lake.  Later in the day they ran up in the Tennessee River to finish out their limit on a spinner-bait.
