Well the half way point of the season has came on gone, this year is going by fast.  We started the weekend out at 3Trees Church in Russel Spings and was greated with some fried chicken and all the fixens.  After dinner Aaron Taylor talked to us about patience, and that God can really test our patience.  We had 31 teams represented on Friday night, 2 renewed commitments and one first time decision.

Saturday morning 36 teams blasted off in hopes of finding a limit of bass to take home the top prize.  The team that did just that is the team of Mike Carrier and TJ Wilcher they used jerkbaits around points to catch a limit weighing 15.71lbs.  Second place went to the team of Jack and Cory Jones with a weight of 15.69lbs.  Third place and big fish went to the team of Tyler Gregory and Dylan Strunk, their total weight was 15.37lbs anchored by a big fish weightin 4.87lbs.  Tyler and Dylan caught their fish in small pockets close to the main channel, using Cumberland Pro shakey heads with Zoom finesse worms and Cumberland Pro pro caster jigs in barren craw color.  Their better bites and the big fish was caught on the jigs.  Join us for our 4th tournament on May 18th on Green River Lake.  For more info call Greg Hansford at 606-303-1483, see you then.
