Congratulations to Sean and Marsha Kate Skey on their win on Lake Murray!

The SC Lowcountry Legacy Series conducted a Tournament on Lake Murray Saturday. Severe Thunderstorms moved through the area early SAturday morning but fortunately cleared out by daybreak and allowed our anglers to get on the water. The Blast-off had to be moved to the Hilton ramp as downed powerlines and trees prevented us from getting to Dreher Island. It turned out to be a nice day and the fish were biting as all teams brought fish to the scales.

Sean and Marsha Kate Skey bested the field with a great bag that weighed 16.92 lbs. Finishing 2nd was the mother and son team of Aiden and Kasie Somerville with 11.03 lbs which included the Big Fish of the Tournament a fine 5.41 lb speciman. Finishing 3rd was the team of Ronnie and Lane Mueller and rounding out the top 4 was the team of Trip and Reagan Fryar.

John Byrd III brought a great message about including God in all areas of our lives. Our anglers enjoyed Pizza and soft drinks and are excited to be heading to Lake Keowee for the National Championship in a few weeks.
