Grand Lake 6-20-20 Results
Jacksons Did it again. This lake is to their liking. After having an impressive win at our February event on this lake, they had an even impressive one this time. They won with 4 fish weighing 21.48 pounds! They anchored it with the Big Bass of the day - 6.35 pounds. The fish were caught after they made a long run past Twin Bridges up the Spring River. It was a very good day indeed for them. Any day is awesome when you cull a fish weighing 4.9 pounds and several other 4 pounders. The fish were caught anywhere from 6 inches to 4 feet deep using square bill crankbaits, plastic worms, and Brush Hogs. The win also gave them 1st. in the Bonus Bucks pot.
Coming in a respectable, but distant, second was the team of Gilmark Labitad and Yao Xing with 4 fish weighing 11.79 pounds. They also captured second in the Bonus Bucks pot.
In third place was the team of Mike Franks and Jody Brown with 11 pounds even. They won third place in the Bonus Bucks pot.
As a final note, my Grandson, Jaxon Hall, caught his first keeper Bass. A nice 3.91 pounder. Jaxon is the third youngest, or the third oldest, of 5 grandsons. He's going to be hard to live with now!
