Jordan and Smith Win on a tough Fort Loudoun!

Saturday morning the Fishers of Men gang awoke to partly cloudy skies and warm breeze blowing across the lake.  As the fog burned off the heat came and by weigh-in time the temperature was in the upper 80s.

 First place Ameriprise Award went to the team of  the Michael Smith and Brian Jordan.

This team came to the scales with 5 fish weighing in at 12.27  their winning bag included the lunker of the tournament a beautiful 5.07 lbs. largemouth bass.  Brian reported running their Mercury powered boat down to the lower end of the lake to catch their winning bag.  This talented team used a big crankbait to catch their fish off points fishing around 15 feet of water.  This team is sponsored by Mercury,  Dixie Custom Baits, Tote Rite and White Pine Marine.

Second place went to the team of Ronny Jones and Bailey Fain with 5 fish weighing 11.97 lbs. Dr. Jones reported running around the mid-section of the lake to catch their fish flipping main lake banks.  Bailey Fain is the Manager at the new PB Lodge in Dayton Tennessee on World Fame Chickamauga Lake.  Given him a call at 865-707-3474 when headed down to Chickamauga Lake to catch the big ones.   

Third place went to Rod Garret and Paul Rogers with 5 fish weighing in at 11.87 pounds.  These seasoned veterans went and flipped all day to bring back their nice bag of fish.

Fourth place went to the father and son team of Ben and Bobby Boggs 5 fish weighing at 11.21 pounds.  Ben reported flipping on the lower end of the lake to catch their fish from boat docks.

Fifth place went to the team of Brian Everett and Stephen Daugherty.  This team came to the scales with a limit weighing 10.71 pounds.  This talented team fish deep using a big crankbait to catch their fish from 20 feet of water.
