2021 Berkley Team Series District 7 Championship

Day two had us once again on the ramp at 5:00am checking boats and listening to new strategies on how the teams were going to try and improve the catch.  We blasted off with cloudy weather that later in the morning turned to liquid sunshine and storms throughout the day.

The wet and tired teams began to cross the scales with the catch not being too much better than day one but still expectations were high on trying to figure out which teams were going to get to advance to the national tournament.  Day two’s leaders were Scott Hoing and Keith Rose with a stringer, and kicker big fish of the day (7.81), weighing 15.76.  Second place was the team of Andrew Whistler and Zachary Sheehy with a sack weighing 13.54.  Rounding out the top three were the team of Bill  Lambert and Jon Robinson with a catch of 13.16.  

The District 7 Championship finished with the Texas NE team of Scott Hoing and Keith Rose taking the honors with a total weight of 24.82. Second place was taken by the Texas East team of Bill Lambert and Jon Robinson.  Finishing third was the Texas NC team of Andrew Whistler and Zachary Sheehy.  Congratulations to these guys and all of the rest of the winners!
