SC Upstate had 34 boats competing on Lake HARTWELL on Feb 18, 2023.
The Friday night meeting was hosted by Judah Church in Anderson, SC. They treated us to a Taco bar that really hit the spot as the wind was blowing and temperatures began dropping.
The Service was kicked off with some music from the worship team, and they really did a great job in helping us enter into a time of worship. Pastor Scott King shared some life stories, and reminded us that Jesus CHOSE fisherman FIRST! His message compared different lures that anglers use to "target" certain fish species. Then Pastor King shared how when Jesus fishes for MEN, he uses a NET! What's the signicance of that? Well, it is simply that Jesus wants to catch EVERYONE! The good, bad, and ugly....
