SC Upstate Team series had 36 boats in our 3rd event on Lake Russell on March 11, 2023.
Rock Branch baptist and Pastor Kevin really did an AWESOME job as a new Host to SC Upstate. They fed us well with salad, hamburger steaks, loaded potatos, and some great deserts.
Pastor Kevin shared his story, and it reminded us of how throughout our life that all any of us need to do is to SURRENDER to God. He doesn't need us all to stand in a pulpit and preach, or give up everything in your life to serve him; but he DOES ask that we surrender our hearts to him. That means that our lives will be given to Jesus FIRST, and everything else will be viewed through His eyes. For most of us, that won't drasitcally change what we do but it will change WHO you do it with and for. Have you thought about what that means in YOUR life?
We were blessed to be able to support Rebecca Baskins' Benefit tournament. At the close of the Friday night meeting we had the opportunity to gather our FOM folks around them and pray over them. We will continue to pray for the Baskins family as they journey through these challenging times.
Saturday's weather ended up being very nice after the little front came through on Friday, but it slowed the fishing down for some. There were plenty of fish caught, and we want to congratulate our winners:
