Alabama Northwest - Legacy

About This Division

The Northwest Alabama Legacy division centers its tournaments around the Shoals Area.  Lakes fished are typically Wilson, Wheeler, and Pickwick. We would love to have you join our Legacy Division.  Remember that for the Legacy division, one team member must be a youth and one an adult. 

Our mission: To introduce Jesus to fishermen and their families and to invite them into a relationship with Him, through bass fishing tournaments.

About Me:

Hi, my name is Gabby Mahaffey, previously Gabby Tate. I am the director for the NW AL Legacy division. I am an elementary school teacher as well as an avid outdoorswoman. I grew up fishing the Fishers of Men Legacy trail and I can proudly say that is has made a signifigant impact on my life as a Christian and as an angler. It has blessed me with lifetime friendships, but more importantly, it has helped me develop a closer relationship with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I never imagined I would be directing the very division that I grew up fishing but I am beyond blessed to be able to serve and help grow His kingdom. I would highly encourage anyone and everyone to come fish with us. I love seeing the excitement on our youth anglers faces every chance that we get to host these events. We are beyond excited to begin the 2023 season!
