Post Covid-19 Reopening guidelines for Fishers of Men Tournament Anglers
We, the National Office, have made decisions that we feel are in the best interest of our membership and volunteers, based on the information we have access to. These guidelines are for Team Series events, Legacy Series events, High school, Weeknighter, and UBC events. For now, we will still suspend UBC events since they cause people who may not know each other, to be in a boat together. These guidelines will be in place until furter notice.
No pre-tournament meeting or gathering of any kind including during weigh-in.
All competitors should a maintain 6’ distance from others and avoid handshakes throughout the day.
Division Directors will provide information regarding entry deadlines in tournament details
Division Directors will provide rules highlights and blast-off instructions
Directors will provide weigh-in procedures prior to blast-off.
Competitors are encouraged to watch Friday Night PRO-Fessions replays on the Fishers of Men Facebook page or FOM NATION YouTube Channel.
Welcome to the Pennsylvania Legacy Division!
The events will be a one day 5 bass limit Saturday tournament with blast off at safe light and a 1:00 pm weigh in followed by food, fellowship, and prizes!
A membership is required to fish a Legacy event, either a $40.00 individual membership or a $60.00 family membership. Legacy kids do not need a membership. With these memberships you can participate in any Fishers of Men event.
There will be two one day events this year. Legacy events have no off limit period. Our first event is June 27 at Sayers Dam/Bald Eagle State Park in Howard, PA and our second event is TBA. Competing in one Legacy event automatically qualifies you to fish in the Legacy National Championship which is July 24 and 25 on Lake Jordan in Wetumpka, Alabama this year! Due to Coid-19 cancellations, if you fished any Legacy event in 2019 you are also qualified fot the 2020 National Championship!
Legacy team consist of one adult and one or more juniors with only two members fishing at one time. Solo fishing is not allowed in Legacy Tournaments. An Adult/Junior team is defined as a team with one member who has reached his/her nineteenth birthday before January 1, 2020, and another member who has not reached his/her nineteenth birthday on or before January 1, 2020.
Any junior angler, parent, grandparent, spouse, sibling, or in-law of the same relationship, of either partner can be in the boat with a team at any time during the practice and competition as long as there are only two people fishing and at least one of those fishing is a junior.
Entry fees are $80.00 per team per tournament including big bass. Entry fees for Legacy tournaments should be mailed to the tournament director and postmarked no later than the Friday eight days prior the tournament. Entries for one day events may be paid the morning of the event. Entries paid on Saturday morning will be assessed a $25.00 Late Fee. Entry fees and memberships can also be paid/purchased via PayPal at paypal.me/witherupd .
