The fourth Fishers of Men Team Series event at Indian Lake is complete.  

The weekend started Friday evening with our pre-tournament meeting at the Indian Lake Community Church. Thanks to Jim Ellington and the church members for opening their doors to us. As always, the Church ladies feed us very well. The meal included ham, potatoes, green beans, salads, and some of the best pie you could put your teeth in. Pastor Jim shared a message with us about remembering things you have been told and taught by those that may longer be with us. The most important information is   the salvation message shared with us by our Lord Jesus. Also, we should share the message with others as his followers, who included fishermen, did.

Our Saturday tournament was warm and humid with windy conditions. At safe light, thirty boats were launched from Moundwood ramp. The fish seemed to be in a good mood and twenty three limits were brought to the scales. The father son team of John and David Maples had a blessed day and brought a five bass limit to the scales weighing 18.56#.  The limit also included the tournaments big bass which weighed 4.39#. Congratulations and great job guys. In second place was the team of Jim Brown and Scott Casto with a limit weighing 11.69#. Jim and Scott have been fishing with us for a long time and we were very glad to see them do well.
