Well just like that our season has came to an end.  Phillip Yates spoke to us about everything having a start and an end.  Just don't get to the end without having a relationship with Christ.  We had 27 boats blast off Saturday morning in hopes of catching the winning limit of bass and about 5 boats that was still in the running for the points race, 2 of those teams was tied for first going into this tournament.  The team that came to the scales with the biggest limit of bass was Keith Monson and Greg Profit.  Keith and Greg had the winning weight of 17lbs, their fish was caught on make lake points with crankbaits and worms.  In second place was the team of Larry Baldock and Ben Kabel with 15.43lbs, their fish was caught using spoons and shakey heads on creek channel swings.  Brian Ross and Jared Carpenter came in third place with 15.33lbs, all their fish came on plastics fished around wood cover.  This bag of fish also gave Ross and Carpenter the points championship.  Brian and Jared have been very consistant this season and they was in third place in points leading into this tournament.  This has been a fun season and I hope to see everyone back for next season.  Keep a eye out for the new schedule, I am hoping to have it posted sometime in September, and do not forget to send in your entry fees for the District Championship on Barren before the deadline.  These entries can be done online through the link for that tournament.  Thank you to everyone that fished with us this season!
