RESULTS FOR GRAND LAKE 4/17/21
It was a cold and dreary day but several team managed to catch their 5 fish limit. The team of Bob Hope
and Chuck Smith narrowly won with a weight of 13.86 pounds. They added to their winnings by finishing first in the Bonus Bucks pot. Coming in right on their heels was the team of Caleb Hester and Kade McMillin with a limit tipping the scales at 13.58 pounds. They also collected second place money in the Bounus Bucks. Caleb and Kade blew their motor in the first hour and a half of the the tournament. Imagine what might have been if the motor didn't go south on them. Third with a weight of 11.94 pounds was Randy Pulliam and Nicholas Dorsett. They earned third spot money in the Bonus Bucks.
This is the third event of our season. Three remain with the next one coming up May 22nd at Spavinaw Lake.
Teams Must fish at least three events to qualify for the District Championship on Lake Dardanelle at Russellvile, Arkansas on October 16th. It will go out of the State Park in Russellville. The park is also a campground and there are numerous hotels in Russellville. The facility is AWESOME and it's a relatively short drive to it from NE Oklahoma.
A couple of imprtant points.......entry fees cannot be paid at the ramp and the tournament waters are off limits Monday thru Thursday preceding an event.
