The final event of the 2021 Season is a wrap! 15 teams showed up for the showdown between the top teams. We had three teams tied in points going into today but there can only be one Champion. The team of Herb Rush and Zach Pierce weighed in 14.80lbs and take the win today including the Scheels Big Bass of 3.72 lbs. They finished up the season with 985 points making them the 2021 Points Champions of the Illinois Central Division. Herb and Zach earned an automatic berth in the 2022 National Championship next spring and will receive custom hoodies and plaques from the National Office. They also won an extra $1,000.00 and will have their 2022 entries paid ($750). Congratulations to the Champs! Second place was the husband and wife team of Brian and Lauri Lopp had 5 fish that weighed 13.08lbs. Third Place was the team of Jim Dietel and Kerry Kerry-Michelle Malone with 5 fish weighing 11.91lbs. Immediately following the event the anglers were treated to Italian beef sandwiches and sides. We had a good season and look forward to the post season events. Hope to see you on the water in September at the Mississippi River Pool 14.
