The first tournament of the year is in the books. We had a great meeting Friday evening. Our speaker Armando Castro spoke to us about the void in our hearts that can't be filled by anything but Jesus. Palestine Baptist Church was the site of the meeting and once again they treated us like family. They served roasted pork and fried chicken whith homemade deserts! We had a lot of good raffle items including a costom rod Donated by SML Tackle Shack and bags of lures from Swamp Monkey and a wreath from Gary Flinchum.
The tournament blasted off just before 7am from Smith Mountain Lake State Park. The weather was cold with some wind but the team of Michael Heatwole and Mark Heatwole Figured it out for the win with 18.59! Congratulations to them. The full finish with points standing is available online.
Our next tournament is the 26th of March at Buggs. We are looking forward to seeing everyone there.
